From August 6 to 8, 2026 Global Business Innovation Conference (GBIC·2026), hosted by Yonyou, was grandly held in Nanjing. 01 Global Enterprises Are Accelerating Their Transition into the Digital Intelligence Enterprise 2.0 Era.

As the fourth general technological revolution following the steam engine, electricity, and computing, artificial intelligence (AI) is propelling human society beyond the stage of industrial civilization and officially ushering in a brand-new era—the age of intelligent industry.

“AI represents the largest revolutionary technological wave globally since the birth of computers,” believes Wang Wenjing, Chairman and CEO of Yonyou Network. As AI becomes commercially scalable, it signals that enterprise application of information technology has entered a new stage, and digital and intelligent transformation is now entering its second half, with “intelligence” as its central focus. AI is beginning to be scaled up and integrated into enterprises’ workflows, business operations, and management activities. Wang Wenjing believes that AI will comprehensively reshape enterprises across six key dimensions: decision-making approaches, products and services, operational methods, business models, asset structures, and organizational forms.

王文京认为AI将从决策方式、产品与服务、运营方式、商业模式、资产结构、组织形态六大维度，对企业进行全方位重塑。

Several years ago, Yonyou was among the first in the industry to introduce the concepts of “enterprise digital intelligence” (digitalization + intelligentization) and “digital-intelligent enterprise”. As technology continues to evolve and markets mature, Wang Wenjing believes that global enterprises are accelerating their transition toward Digital-Intelligent Enterprise 2.0. Data- and model-driven operations, human-machine collaboration, proprietary cognitive assets, agile responsiveness, precision management, and autonomous operations. These are the six core characteristics of Digital-Intelligent Enterprise 2.0.

The core goal of AI technology implementation is to create quantifiable value for enterprises. Wang Wenjing believes that AI represents a new paradigm and new form of software—it won’t devour or kill software, but rather usher in an AI-driven upgrade and generational shift for software. AI brings about structural changes, innovative transformations in form, enhanced value creation, and upgraded business models, which will make the software industry even more prosperous.

王文京认为，AI是软件的新范式、新形态，不会吞噬或杀死软件，是软件的AI化升级换代。AI带来软件的结构变化、形态革新、价值升维、模式升级，会让软件产业更加繁荣！

Meanwhile, Wang Wenjing proposed the concept of “intelligent dual-mode”: For scenarios characterized by rule-based execution, determinism, and precise computation, process-execution software should be employed; whereas for scenarios involving intelligent decision-making, autonomous execution, uncertainty, and probabilistic computation, agent-based software is the preferred approach. This approach represents the optimal model for enterprise software applications both today and for the foreseeable future.

同时，王文京提出“智能双模”，即：基于规则执行、确定性、精确计算的场景采用流程执行型软件；智能决策和自主执行、不确定性、概率计算的场景采用智能体软件，是当前和今后一定时期企业软件应用的优选模式。

In the AI era, FDEs (Frontier Deployment Engineers) have emerged as a new co-creation collaboration paradigm for enterprises, especially large enterprises, enabling deeper AI implementation and enhancing enterprise service delivery. The Yonyou FDE team, based on Yonyou’s enterprise AI platform and application products, works closely with corporate clients through value validation, co-creation of value, and long-term operational support to bring AI into practical, value-driven applications within enterprises. This approach has already yielded promising initial results at companies such as Baigong Steel and Fosun Group. For instance, Baigong Steel, by harnessing Yonyou’s BIP, has achieved a reduction of 82 yuan per ton of steel in costs, a 7% uplift in granular position-level workforce productivity and an 18% rise in the proportion of specialty steel sales.
